The Reach Impact Institute, in partnership with Fund Recovery and the Mississippi Public Health Institute (MSPHI), are excited to announce the launch of our first Community Impact Summit initiative in Jackson, MS. On July 7, 2025 we marked the first of its kind installation of a harm reduction vending machine in the state of Mississippi. As part of the "Tackle Overdose Now" campaign, we were joined by special guest, Jeffery Simmons, at the Jackson Medical Mall where we hosted a mini educational session and celebratory ribbon-cutting. The harm reduction vending machine is a powerful, evidence-based strategy that ensures that life-saving overdose reversal medication is available freely and without stigma. This effort is part of a broader campaign to expand access to essential harm reduction medication, educate the public on its life-saving potential and provide critical pathways to treatment and recovery support.
